EZ Work ("EZ Work", "we", "us") is a project management and email workspace operated by HyperEZ Inc.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use EZ Work at
https://ezwork.hyperez.io, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using EZ Work you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash), plus optional profile details such as job title, team, phone number, and avatar.
- Content you create. Projects, tasks, comments, attachments, chat messages, notes, and other content you add to your workspace.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as log data, IP address, and browser type.
- Connected mailbox (optional). If you connect Gmail, the data described in Section 3.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the EZ Work workspace and its features.
- To authenticate you and enforce the access permissions set by your workspace administrators.
- To send service notifications you have not opted out of (for example, task assignments and mentions).
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google user data (Gmail integration)
Connecting Gmail is optional and is only started when you choose "Connect Gmail". When you connect, we request
read-only access to your Gmail using the gmail.readonly scope so that we can display your mail inside EZ Work.
- What we access. Read-only access to your Gmail messages and settings, used solely to show your mail to you within EZ Work.
- What we store. We do not copy or store the contents of your Gmail messages on our servers. We fetch your mail from Google in real time when you view it. We store an encrypted Google refresh token so the connection stays active, together with the connected email address and connection status.
- Disconnecting. You can disconnect at any time from the Email panel. Disconnecting deletes the stored token, and you can also revoke EZ Work's access from your Google Account settings.
- No advertising, no sale, no human reading. We do not use your Gmail data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow humans to read it except where required for security, to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent.
EZ Work's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run EZ Work:
- Within your workspace. Content is visible to other members of your workspace according to the permissions your administrators configure.
- Service providers. We use infrastructure providers to host and operate the service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (application hosting), Google (Gmail access you connect), and an email delivery provider for system notifications. These providers process data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and workspace content while your account is active. When content or a connection is deleted,
it is removed from active systems. The Gmail refresh token is deleted as soon as you disconnect.
6. Security
We protect data with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, row-level access
controls, and encryption at rest for sensitive credentials such as the Gmail refresh token. No method of storage or
transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You may access and update your profile in the app, disconnect Gmail, and request deletion of your account and
associated data by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
8. International transfers
EZ Work is operated from the Republic of Korea, and your information may be processed there and in other countries
where our service providers operate. We take steps to protect your information wherever it is processed.
9. Children
EZ Work is a workplace tool intended for business use and is not directed to children under 14.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date
above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
